No one should try provide unpaid care without some form of information. Mental health services and GPs can provide some support, but it is a good idea to pick up information from those who have been through the journey.
Matthew McKenzie (FRSA) has created this very course, where he shares his past experiences in order to help others. It should be made clear the course avoids puting service users as unable to support themselves, but those who are families, friends or neighbours to someone using mental health services will find the course useful.
